General Rules

  1. 1. In order to claim their prize, the identity of all winners must be verified. Winners must either provide a valid photo ID or have a valid ID on file in the Patron Management System (i.e. driver’s license, state issued ID, tribal government issued ID, handicap ID, military ID, or passport).

  2. 2. If the ID is expired, the prize can be held at the Cashier’s Cage for up to three weeks. If the winner does not present a valid ID at the Cashier’s Cage within the three weeks allotted, the prize will be forfeited.

  3. 3. All winners must claim their prize; there will be no substitutions or transfers of prizes to any other guest on behalf of the winner.

  4. 4. All winners are responsible for paying all applicable local, state and federal taxes that may be incurred due to winning prize during any drawing. All winners must complete a 1099 form and a W-9 form prior to receiving their prize; if applicable.

  5. 5. By participating in this promotion, winners voluntarily and irrevocably provide Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel permission and the absolute right to publish their picture and make public all winnings for advertising purposes.

  6. 6. Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel employees are not eligible to participate in this promotion.

  7. 7. No immediate family member living in the same household as any Marketing, Player Development or Technical Services employee is eligible to participate in this promotion. In the event that a family member living in the same household as any Marketing, Player Development, or Technical Services employee should claim a prize, they will be added to the casino’s ’86 exclusion list and removed from all promotions going forward.

  8. 8. No employee of the Chitimacha Tribal Gaming Commission or any immediate family member living in their household is eligible to participate in this promotion. In the event that a family member living in the same household as any Chitimacha Tribal Gaming Commission employee should claim a prize, they will be added to the casino’s ’86 exclusion list and removed from all promotions going forward.

  9. 9. Vendors, contractors, representatives and consultants of Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel are not eligible to participate in this promotion. In the event that a vendor, contractor, representative or consultant of Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel should claim a prize, they will be added to the casino’s ’86 exclusion list and removed from all promotions going forward.

  10. 10. No one whose name is on either the casino’s ’86 exclusion list or the Commission’s exclusion list is eligible for this promotion and any person on either list identified during this promotion will be subject to ejection and punishment.

  11. 11. Management reserves the right to cancel or modify this promotion at any time.

  12. 12. This promotion is subject to change or modification at any time and the interpretation of the rules, eligibility, and prize distribution is at the sole discretion of Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel.

  13. 13. If the drawing system pulls more than the appropriate number of winners approved by the rules of a promotion where the prize is $500 in Cypress Plus or less, the prize will be awarded to all winners drawn and the Gaming Commission will be notified of the deviation from the gaming rules. If the drawing system pulls more than the appropriate number of winners approved by the rules of a promotion where the prize is greater than $500 in Cypress Plus, a tangible prize of any value, or actual cash in any amount, all names drawn will be placed into a “Drum” and a manual drawing will be done under the supervision of the Gaming Commission to determine the winner of the prize for that drawing. In the event that this happens during lead up drawings, all drawn winners will be excluded from subsequent drawings for that promotion on that day.

  14. 14. Any disputes associated with this promotion will be resolved in accordance with the rules and regulations set forth in Chapter Nine of the Chitimacha Gaming Commission Class III Regulations.

  15. 15. Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel Management will resolve any dispute or situation not covered by the official rules.

  16. 16. By entering into this promotion, any and all participants agree to all of the above stated rules and regulations.
